Swayambhu gets a facelift

The renovation of Swayambhu, which formally commenced on 1 July, 2008 has just been completed. Pictures of the renovation of Swayambhu stupa in Kathmandu:

    Wow! It makes me cry to see the beauty and elegance of Swayambhu Nath Temple. It makes me proud to be a Nepali. Yes, our country is in a mess, but the cultural heritage and the beauty of Newari arts are something we all Nepali should be extremely proud of. Thank you all the people who contributed and participated on the restoration project of this beautiful land mark of Kathmandu.
